The story, mission, and people behind Kairali Samajam Hosur.
Kairali Samajam began as a handful of Malayali families in Hosur who missed the smell of rain on red earth and the sound of Onam songs. What started as informal get-togethers has grown into a community that meets, celebrates, and looks out for one another all year round.
Today, generations gather here — from elders who remember the old songs to children learning their first Malayalam words — through festivals, classes, and everyday friendship. We are one of the largest Malayali community associations in Hosur, and we're still growing.
"Wherever a Malayali family stands together, that ground becomes Kerala."
Two simple ideas that guide everything we do.
To preserve and celebrate Kerala's language, culture, and traditions among Malayali families in Hosur — while building a supportive network that helps every member feel at home, in every season of life.
A thriving, multi-generational Malayali community in Hosur, where culture is celebrated openly, newcomers are welcomed warmly, and no family ever faces hard times alone.
Membership is free to join and open to every Malayali family in Hosur.
